1. What did you learn about "lifelong wellness" from taking this activity class?
The biggest thing I learned from taking this Wellness class is how much better I feel mentally, emotionally and physically when I exercise regularly. I learned why diets don't work - mostly because they are usually unhealthy and the person ends up miserable when on them. I feel best when I watch calorie intake, stop eating when I'm full and exercise regularly
2. How would you apply this information to your life?
I apply the things I've learned from this class to my life by using exercise as medicine. If I feel down or stressed it always helps me to exercise. I feel more motivated to eat right when I exercise and when I eat right I feel especially great!
3. What is your intention to continue to exercise in your life and why?
I want to continue to exercise for several reasons:
1. I feel happier and less stressed when I exercised.
2. I lost 10 pounds from taking this class and it feels great to be my ideal body weight.
3. I get less winded when taking the stairs or walking long distances. My heart feels stronger!
4. General ideas for improving this course?
For me this course was great; it got me to exercise, lose weight, and eat better. I did the work and it paid off. I think online courses such as this one can be too easy and a waste of time for some people because they can get away with not working and therefore they learn nothing. On the other hand it is nice for people like me who like to work at their own pace and exercise wherever they want.
